About

I woke up one day and felt like the world was grey; like the battles that needed fighting were too big, the pain in the world too intense — my best efforts not nearly enough to make a dent in either.

I was so sad.

And then I listened to Tallis’ Spem in Alium — Hope in Everything — and something shifted.

The world still seemed bleak; the outcome of all things far more uncertain than one would wish it to be.

But I remembered that there was more to life, even this life, in this strange time, than darkness.

That there was still beauty, and that perhaps, in actively seeking out and making space for it, I might be sustained, inspired and uplifted.

Given new fuel to confront what needs confronting.

I’ve come to understand that I cannot fight with a soul that is starving.

I don’t think I’m the only one.

So I created this.
